Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation BioBank and Clinical Database
The IBC Research Foundation BioBank and Clinical Database is a secure, privacy-protected collection of biological specimens from IBC-diagnosed patients ( and IBC patients who have died, those who are under legal age, and those living but unable to make decisions for themselves, may be consented to participate in the IBC Research Foundation BioBank by their authorized representative) and from those not diagnosed with IBC (controls), volunteering following a consent decision making process, and signing an Informed Consent.
Clinical data and a comprehensive questionnaire is obtained for those diagnosed with IBC. The forms and procedures have been approved by an Institutional Review Board, and operational aspects, including requests for samples and/or data for research purposes, are reviewed and approved by the Foundation’s Medical Advisory Board.
