The Angel’s Story — December,2002
Marni Salacuse is a young woman who lives in New York state with her husband and two daughters. Her mother, Wanda Murphy, died of IBC on August 6, 2002.
Marni wanted to do something to make some money for the IBC Research Foundation and finally hit on the idea of making angels for Christmas.
Her idea was to give them out one morning at Wal-Mart in return for a donation of a certain amount. When people on the three IBC Researh Foundation lists heard her idea, many wanted to buy one or more from her. She sold more that way than at Wal-Mart, although she was able to talk to a lot of people about IBC and give out a lot of brochures during her couple of hours at Wal-Mart.
