To inform mature visitors to this web site, we present photographic examples of inflammatory breast cancer and related issues.
These photographs are frank.
The first set of photographs show typical visual clinical symptoms that appear at time of diagnosis, before treatment. Remember there are often non-visual symptoms that include itching, pain, and skin thickening.
The second set of photographs show weight gain as the result of taking steroids as part of the treatment protocol, in this case Decadron.
The third set of photographs depict what are commonly called skin mets (metastasis), in this case appearing along the scar line of the mastectomy. Additional pictures of skin mets can be seen by clicking here.
