This IBC patient had two mastectomies 18 months apart, no reconstruction. Mild lymphedema with compression sleeve on right arm, with a shoulder strap to help keep it from disturbing the circulation at the top of her arm.
Dual lumen port with two access chambers on the upper left side of the chest may appear larger than a single lumen port. Port has been in for two years.
(Note: A lumen port is an implanted surgical device to avoid repeated needle sticks when patient is taking chemo treatments and blood tests.)
